8.png

Located in Tsingshan's Morowali industrial Park, Indonesia, theproject primarily produces coke with associated waste heat recoveryfor power generation. The facility consists of six major subsystems:one coal preparation system, four coking systems, and one each ofcoke screening and quenching systems.

The automation system features Siemens S7-412-5H redundant controllers for each subsystem's CPU, complemented byhigh-performance Siemens remote l/0 stations with redundant inter-face modules and hot-swappable l/0 modules. Fiber-optic connec-tions via OLM modules link the remote l/0 stations. Each subsystem isequipped with one local operator station (running WinCC SCADAplatform) for emergencyfield operations, featuring Siemens industria!Ethemet cardsto establish fault-tolerant connections with the CPUs.
