
The Niobanga niobium mine beneficiation and miningprojectis located in Huíla Province, Angola. The main process flowincludes: miningsite washing plant-magnetic separation plant-flotation plant- gravity separation → filter pressing.
The automation system uses a Siemens PCS7 architecturewith AS410-5H redundant controllers as the CPU.Remote l/0stations are configured for pre-flotation filtration, flotation, orewashing, niobium tailings filtration, and concentrate dephosphorization, all connected via a redundant fiber-optic ring network.
The system also integrates around 20 sets of on-site equipment such as thickeners, filter presses, flotation machines, hydrocyclones, blowers, ball mills, apron feeders, and drum scrubbers.The central control system comprises engineering stations, redundant servers, OPC servers, and client terminals, all linked to the AScontrol stations through the redundant ring network.
